The ACF Coffee Appreciation Protocol (ACAP) is an overarching and integrated coffee quality framework that celebrates coffee’s journey from farm to cup by incorporating regional values, sensory experiences, and craftsmanship. It is set to redefine how coffee is appreciated, taught, and celebrated globally.

Grounded in local experience and community perspectives, ACAP encourages a holistic, bottom-up recognition of coffee quality. ACAP also aims to educate and empower all actors along the coffee value chain—from producers and roasters to baristas, café owners, educators, and beyond—by making knowledge accessible and appreciation inclusive.
